DEMONIC INFESTATION-

Demonic Infestation occurs when the door to the demonic is opened, either intentionally or unintentionally, but always through an invitation of some flavor.  The infestation may begin with the sound of scratches or knocks and then progressively become more "enthusiastic" in its approach.

 

DEMONIC OPPRESSION-

Demonic Oppression can be a mild to a severe harrassment by evil spirits resulting from the opening of the doors to Satan's influence. The point of entry and harrassment at this level is the mind of the victim.  There are common characteristics of this phase with depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, relational conflict, etc.

 

DEMONIC POSSESSION-

Demonic Possession is the rarest of the three but it does happen. However, it does not occur as often as many movies or books would lead you to believe.  This phase is characteristically seen as a complete domination of the mind and body by a demonic entity or multiple entities. The demon may manifest in a host of ways and express its own personality and vitriol through the body and mind of the victim.  However, it must be noted that all other explanations such as mental illness must be ruled out by professionals before an exorcism takes place with an individual and even then a professional such as a doctor or psychiatrist should be present.
